The Challenge

A 450-bed multi-speciality hospital was operating with an outdated fire detection and suppression infrastructure that failed to meet current NFPA 101 Life Safety Code requirements. Critical care wards, operating theatres, and pharmacy stores presented unacceptable risk profiles with no compartmentalisation strategy in place.

Our Approach

Flux Tech Con conducted a comprehensive Fire Risk Assessment across all 12 floors, identifying 38 critical non-conformances. We delivered a phased engineering design covering addressable fire detection, clean-agent suppression for the server room and pharmacy, compartmentalisation upgrades, and a full staff emergency response training programme — all executed with zero disruption to live patient care.

The Challenge

A newly developed 1.2 million square foot shopping mall required a complete fire protection system — from concept design to commissioning — within a tight 14-month construction programme. The scope included food courts, anchor stores, a multiplex cinema, and an underground car park, each with distinct suppression and detection requirements.

Our Approach

Our team delivered end-to-end engineering: hydraulic calculations, sprinkler system design to NFPA 13, smoke control and extraction design, voice evacuation system integration, and a centralised fire alarm network. We coordinated directly with the main contractor and civil teams to ensure all fire safety works were embedded into the construction schedule without delay.

The Challenge

A large petrochemical plant processing flammable liquids and gases had not undergone a formal Fire Risk Assessment in over six years. Ageing foam suppression systems, inadequate deluge coverage on process vessels, and gaps in emergency response procedures created significant life-safety and asset-protection exposure.

Our Approach

Flux Tech Con deployed a specialist industrial fire safety team to conduct a full site FRA aligned to NFPA 30 and local regulatory standards. We redesigned the foam suppression and deluge system layouts, upgraded detection zoning across the process areas, and delivered a revised Emergency Response Plan with live drill facilitation for plant operations staff.

The Challenge

A 42-storey residential tower with 380 units had inherited a fragmented maintenance history from multiple contractors, resulting in inconsistent service records, expired suppression system certifications, and a building management team with no clear compliance oversight framework.

Our Approach

Flux Tech Con took over as the sole AMC provider, conducting a full baseline audit of all fire systems across the tower. We established a structured quarterly inspection and testing schedule, rebuilt the compliance documentation library, and introduced a digital maintenance log accessible to the building management team in real time — ensuring the tower remained inspection-ready year-round.
